Untitled

ah, to have you with me

through the passing of my time

when spring’s all honeyed blossoms

or the winter winds unwind,

when summer’s fruits are plenty,

or autumn’s painted gold;

be the air so warm with passion,

or tinged with northern cold.

If the cotton clouds are flying,

or the shadowed mountains rain,

I would have you with me

through the passing of my pain.
